About Central Ohio
Newborn Medicine

From healthy newborn nursery care to the most complex and high-risk situations, Central Ohio Newborn Medicine has been caring for newborn infants and their families not only in Columbus but throughout the state of Ohio for over 30 years.

Our physicians have a unique perspective because we work with both sick and well babies. This helps us have a better understanding of the critical milestones babies should be achieving, resulting in more comprehensive care. We also believe in keeping the mother and baby together as much as possible. In cases where this is not possible, we work hard to keep you informed and involved every step of the way.

Central Ohio Newborn Medicine physicians are affiliated with the four major health care systems in central Ohio including Mount Carmel West Medical Center (level III NICU), Nationwide Children’s Hospital (level III NICU), and OhioHealth Grant Medical Center (level III NICU) and Doctor’s Hospital (level III NICU). In addition, our physicians participate in quality-improvement programs, safety initiatives and other administrative roles at all three institutions.
