Meet Anthony Theile, DO
from Central Ohio Newborn Medicine

Bringing a fresh perspective to the practice, Dr. Anthony R. Theile started with Central Ohio Newborn Medicine in 2011. He takes strong emphasis and pride in communicating daily with the families to ensure they know exactly what is going on with their baby and never feel intimidated or confused by the experience.

Dr. Theile dedicates himself to make a connection with the parents, whether it’s through drawing diagrams or taking extra time to explain medical terms.

Dr. Theile believes that “the babies are truly the boss,” which challenges him to develop a new game plan daily. With a more minimalistic patient care approach, he strives to only order tests that will actually change his management.

During his residency, he was honored with the Leonard Tow Humanism and Excellence in Teaching award for going out of his way to take time to help medical students.

Originally from the Indianapolis area, Dr. Theile completed his residency and fellowship in Louisville, and is happy to be settled within easy driving distance to family.

When he isn’t practicing, Dr. Theile likes to spend time with his family and traveling abroad.

He and his wife, Christina, reside in Bexley with their four daughters.
